Preparation

  • Stir honey and 1/2 cup hot water in small bowl until honey dissolves. Cool completely.

  • Combine honey water, Oolong tea, gin, limoncello, lemon juice, and grapefruit juice in large pitcher. Add club soda and stir to blend.

  • Fill six 1-pint mason jars or 6 tall glasses with ice cubes. Divide tea mixture among jars; top each with lemon slice.

Ingredients

SERVINGS: MAKES 6

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 3 cups freshly brewed any Silver Needle Tea Co.'s Oolong teas, cooled
  • 3/4 cup gin
  • 3/4 cup limoncello*
  • 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 cup chilled club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • 6 lemon slices (for garnish)

BLACK TEA BOURBON COCKTAIL

Serves 6-8/Preparation time:  10 mins

We use Silver Needle Tea Co.’s black tea, Golden Beautiful Eyebrow for an extra smoky flavor that pairs extremely well with bourbon. 

 

Ingredients:

3 cups of water
9 grams of whole leaf loose tea/3 tea bags
1 cup of bourbon
¼ cup of honey
1 lime
1 lemon

 

Preparation:

To make the tea:  Bring water to 205ºF and steep for 5 minutes.
Pour tea into the jar you want to serve in and add honey to tea.
In the same jar throw in lime and lemon wedges then pour in the bourbon.
Cover the jar and put in the fridge to chill or serve in chilled cocktail glasses to drink immediately.

MASALA CHAI WITH SILVER NEEDLE TEA CO.'S BLACK TEA

This silky, creamy and spicy masala tea is perfect for a relaxing afternoon in the slight chill of autumn. 

Our Masala Chai recipe with Silver Needle Tea Co's Golden Beautiful Eyebrow/JinJunMei. 

Serves 6-8/Preparation time:  5 mins

1 Tablespoon (3 grams) of Golden Beautiful Eyebrow 

1 Tablespoon Masala Spice (You can find different brands online or in India grocery stores)

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup whole milk

Optional:   cinnamon sticks, ground cloves, ground ginger

In a small pot, let water boil then stir in tea, milk and masala (and other optional ingredients) to cook in medium heat for a few minutes then immediately strain, add sugar and serve!
