Jade Green tea (BiLuoChun)

from $21.00

Our Jade Green Tea, or BiLuoChun, means “Green Snail Spring” in Mandarin. Bi is for the jade color of the tea. Luo is the snail-like curl of the leaves, rolled into a tight swirl. And Chun refers to springtime. A highly regarded, traditional green tea, BiLuoChun was revered as the emperor's tea, known for its beautiful appearance, bright hue, strong aroma and sweet, floral taste. This exquisite green tea is similar to Long Jing, but more delicate since only the smallest bud and top two leaves from every tea branch are used. Harvested from the misty Dongting mountain region in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China, the high elevation and nearby Lake Tai contribute to a fragrant taste profile. BiLuoChun is elegant and robust.
