The most popular oolong tea, Iron Goddess of Mercy is complex in taste and production. Grown in Anxi, China, at over 3000 feet elevation, legend has it that the Iron Goddess appeared in a poor farmer’s dream, leading him to discover the tea and his prosperity. Hand-harvested and cultivated according to ancient tradition, Iron Goddess of Mercy has a full roasted flavor with subtle floral notes.  Available in pyramid shaped tea bags and package in our Yellow cylinder.

Quantity: 1 teaspoon per 6 ounces
Water Temperature: 185 - 205ºF
Steeping Time: 1st infusion 30 seconds, 2nd infusion 50 seconds, 3rd infusion 1 minute, subsequent infusions 1 minute
Infusions: 4
